The BDBA 60 & over Singles was played Tuesday when the field was reduced to the last four-

those being John Cassidy (Bendigo) who had defeated Ian Ross (Bendigo) 21-13

-John Tate (Marong) who had def Lindsay Kelly (Inglewood) 21-18

-John Crawford ( Bendigo East) who had def Col Stephens (South Bendigo) 21-19 &

Charlie Bell (Kangaroo Flat) who had def Lou Frank (Bendigo East) 23-20

Today (Thursday) the finals were played on the Bendigo greens and the results were- Semi Finals

-John Cassidy def John Tate 21-9 and John Crawford def Charlie Bell 21-18

The Grand final saw John Cassidy slip away to lead 19-12 only to see John Crawford claw his way back and go on to win 21-19 John Crawford will now go on to play for the Group title which will be held at North Bendigo on the 18th Oct. against the winners from Campaspe, Goulburn & Murray Associations.
